Hydrology • Flood Forecasting • Water Resources
Researcher working on flood forecasting, hydrological modelling, transboundary river systems, and climate-resilient water management. Experienced in operational forecasting, hydro-meteorological data analysis, and flood early warning systems in Bangladesh.
I am a hydrology and water resources professional working in the field of flood forecasting and disaster risk reduction in Bangladesh. My academic and professional interests focus on operational flood forecasting, transboundary river basin management, hydro-meteorological modelling, climate resilience, and early warning systems.
My research has particularly focused on the Teesta Basin and flash flood forecasting using observed and satellite rainfall data integrated with hydrodynamic modelling systems. I am interested in combining scientific research, operational forecasting, and decision support systems to improve disaster preparedness and resilience.
Research: Development of a Flash Flood Forecasting Model for Teesta Basin at Dalia Barrage Using Observed and Satellite Data.
